smack your boss.
my new boss is probably one of the biggest control freaks i have ever met. and, despite being quite the ladder-climber, she has an uncanny ability to create so much extra work, and add so many more rounds of back-and-forth than could ever be wanted.
the other day i even specifically mentioned to her that it was frustrating when i had done a great deal of work, say, in excel, only to have her then want me to put it into powerpoint instead. i mean, the work is done - do i really need to double it by recreating the document in a different format? seriously?
and what does she do two days later? send me a long typed out email full of information she wants me to put into powerpoint. with all that time she took typing out that copy, it could have already been in powerpoint.
one of these days i’m going to have a break and just lose it.
